The Newport Beach Public Library invites teenage readers to meet authors Jennifer Niven and Nicole Yoon on Sept. 12 at 3 p.m. in the Central Library Friends Room, 1000 Avocado Ave.
Author Jennifer Niven introduces her debut novel in Young Adult fiction with her new book “All the Bright Places,“ a compelling and exhilarating story about a girl who learns to live from a boy who intends to die.
Nicole Yoon’s debut novel tells the story of a girl who’s literally allergic to the outside world, and has never left her house.
Both authors have tackled tough subjects and will host a discussion with teens about their books and the challenges facing the teens they write about.
Event participation is free. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, limited by room capacity. Parents should be advised that mature subject matter will be discussed.
