The Vans U.S. Open of Surfing ran this week in Huntington Beach (Surf City USA) to the delight of hundreds of thousands of beach going surf fans and millions watching the live feeds. The Tati and Toledo show was thrilling in spite of the lack of waves. Tatiana Weston-Webb (USA) won her first WSL title and Felipe Toledo (Brazil) won his second title in three years by ripping through their competitors. Sugar, the only canine licensed to surf the pier delighted dog lovers. The Duct Tape Invitational allowed classic longboarders to strut their stuff and, of course, hang ten. The event, also, featured world class BMX and Skateboarding competitions.
