The second annual “Uncork for Hope” charity wine tasting will be held on May 4 at the Center Club in Costa Mesa.
The event includes hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and wine tastings from numerous wineries.
Wineries attending the event and pouring include Argot Wine, Bevan Cellars, Giracci, HammerSky Vineyards of Newport Beach, Herman Story Herb Lamb Vineyards, Rodney Strong Vineyards, and Silver Oak.
Wineries who have provided wine to be poured at the event include Baldacci, Carlisle, Chateau Montelena, Kosta Browne, Lillian, Hartwell Estate Vineyards, and Westerhold Family Vineyards.
Tickets for the event are $175 in advance and $200 the day of the event.
Admission to a pre-event wine seminar is an additional $25. Tickets can be purchased online at boystown.org/locations/California.
All proceeds go to Boys Town California. Since opening in 1991, Boys Town California has continued to expand its services to meet the needs of troubled children and families.The site has four Family Homes for Adolescents and one Family Home for Young Children on 80 acres in Trabuco Canyon in Orange County.
Boys Town California also provides In-Home Family Services and Community Support Services. These programs and services touch the lives of 48,000 people in California each year.
