“Life Without Limits Gala” to support United Cerebral Palsy at the Balboa Bay Club, honoring Julia and George Argyros. The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, silent auction and raffle including a variety of fine wines.  Dinner will be followed by the awards ceremony and video, a performance of music from “Wicked” by United Cerebral Palsy clients, live auction and dancing.

Newport-Mesa Spirit Run, to benefit the Newport-Mesa Schools Foundation, will be held at Newport Center. The all-day event will include adult 15K, 10K and 5K races and kids’ 5K, mile, half-mile and quarter-mile heats, along with a youth and fitness expo.
