Saks Fifth Avenue hosted a morning of champagne, mimosas and sweet and savory breakfast treats for the Newport Beach chapter of National Charity League, Juniors’ members and guests.
Saks Assistant Manager Rachel Jackson-Smith introduced Spring 2011 fashions from their Designers and Contemporary collection ranging from Valentino, Gucci, Akris, and Philosophy by Alberta Ferreti to Millie, Nannette Lepore and Alice & Olivia.
In addition, a cosmetics presentation by Laura Mercier and gift bags were given to each guest. 10 percent of all purchases made throughout the store that day was given back to support the charities of National Charity League, Juniors.
NCL, Junior’s upcoming annual Mother Daughter Luncheon & Fashion Show on Saturday, March 26th at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach will have a fashion show presented by Saks Fifth Avenue. The nonprofit organization’s graduating 6th-grade girls and mothers will be modeling alongside the Saks models at their major fundraising event of the year.
The Newport Beach Chapter of National Charity League, Juniors is composed of 60 women with daughters ranging from kindergarten through 6th grade. The purpose of NCL, Jrs. is to foster mother-daughter relationships in philanthropic, cultural and social activities.
