Tuesday, May 7

Burglary. 5:25 p.m. 3400 block of W. Coast Hwy. A Glendale man entered the A Market with a large manila envelope. The man put three bottles of wine inside and left the store without paying. He was subsequently arrested and held on $20,000 bail.

 Monday, May 6

Residential burglary. 12:53 a.m. 500 block of Santa Ana Ave. A Huntington Beach man entered the victim’s backyard and began banging on the window and yelling verbal threats. He entered the residence through an unlocked door on the second story. Police arrived and arrested the man for residential burglary. He was held on $50,000 bail.

Grand theft. 9 a.m. 100 block of Promontory Dr. West. An unknown suspect entered a victim’s house and removed a jewelry box from under the couch. The stolen property was valued at $17,700.

Residential burglary. 5:30 p.m. 2600 block of Circle Dr. An unknown suspect entered a residence through an unlocked door and stole a laptop, an iPad, jewelry, and clothing altogether worth $12,628.

Sunday, May 5

Felony vandalism. 4:14 p.m. 1500 block of Superior Ave. An unknown suspect spray painted on the side of a trailer, vandalism damage worth $750.
