Newport Beach Lifeguard Tryouts

A group of Newport Beach lifeguard hopefuls took to the sand and water over the weekend to try out for the seasonal team. About 55 men and women raced in the sand and took a swim test in the chilly ocean water on Saturday. Approximately 30 were selected for follow-up interviews.
