The Newport Beach Film Festival is seeking enthusiastic film lovers to volunteer for Orange County’s annual celebration of cinema, the 16th annual Newport Beach Film Festival, which runs April 23 – April 30, 2015.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in several aspects of the Festival. A sampling of volunteer positions includes guest relations, merchandise sales, theater ushering and office reception.
Prior to the Festival, volunteers must attend at least one orientation meeting. Meetings will provide an overview of Festival activities, as well as updated information on positions and volunteer responsibilities.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to sign up for specific shifts at the meeting.
Volunteers under 18 years old must submit a signed parental consent form. Volunteers under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Dates and times of the Newport Beach Film Festival orientation sessions (must attend one):
-Tuesday, April 7: Old City Hall, 6:30 p.m.
-Saturday, April 11: Lido Theater, 9:30 a.m.
-Sunday, April 12: Lido theater, 10 a.m.
-Tuesday, April 14: Old City Hall, 6:30 p.m.
-Saturday, April 18: Lido Theater, 9:30 a.m.
Old City Hall is located on Newport Blvd between Finley and 32nd Ave. Lido Theater is located at 3459 Via Lido NB, right off of Newport Blvd. Volunteers must RSVP with their selected orientation date to volunteers@newportbeachfilmfest.com.
