The 2016 Miramar Naval Air Show captivated throngs of guests September 23-25. The event celebrated the 100th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps Reserves and the 70th anniversary of performances by the United States Navy Blue Angels flying team. In addition to the stunning performance of the Blue Angels, the Breitling Jet Team demonstrated their precision flying abilities. MAGTF (Marine Air Ground Task Force) demonstrated a coordinated attack drill that included jets, helicopters, bombs and assault Marine forces.
