For the second year in a row, Newport Harbor wins the Battle of the Bay, with a 9-7 victory over Corona del Mar on Saturday.
Junior Ryan Warde led the Sailors with four goals and Senior Curtis Fink added three goals. Mitchell Mendoza and Preston Lee also scored for the Sailors. Senior goalie Wyatt Muller had 9 saves in the game.
Next up for the Tars: a Sunset League match against Huntington Beach tomorrow, and a trip to Northern California for the Bellarmine Memorial Tournament this weekend.
