Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, which gives you another excuse to pamper yourself or drop a few hints to that special someone of what you would like instead of the standard flowers and chocolate.
For some indulgent ideas, here are some of the beauty and spa packages available around town.

If you’re looking for a Italian-inspired romantic getaway, look no further than Pelican Hill. This February, they are featuring couples massages, hands-on preparation of dinner courses with wine pairings every Thursday, as well as special dinner menus.
Valentine’s Chardonnay Body Butter Massage
Receive a couple’s massage with dry brushing exfoliation and a Chardonnay body butter in a beautiful couple’s suite. Following the massage, enjoy a romantic bath for two and complimentary Prosecco, chocolate truffles and fresh strawberries. $425 – $515 per couple. “For the Love of Food” Culinary Academy
If you and your special someone are looking to brush up on your culinary skills, you can join Pelican Hill’s chefs du cuisine every Thursday in February to hone your skills in a Villa kitchen. Each class is $175 per person and includes food and wine pairing. Class sizes are limited to 14 people. My pick of the month would be the “Dinner of the Senses” class on Thursday, Feb. 13 where you will learn how to make small plates to be enjoyed without utensils.\
Valentine’s Day Dinners
Pelican Hill offers four different options for Valentine’s Day dining. My top two are “Dinner of the Senses” (different than the Culinary Academy’s similarly named event) and “Ill Menu dell’Amore.”
Experience dinner with all five of your sense with a seven-course menu for two with “Dinner of the Senses.” This meal is served in a private poolside cabana and features
food that can be eaten and shared by hand ($170 per person or $220 with wine pairings).
Andrea Ristorante presents “Il Menu dell’ Amore” featuring Italian cuisine with four courses ($120 per person or $180 with wine pairings). With its beautiful sunset views from the heated terrace, live music and ocean views, it’s no wonder it’s been recognized as one of America’s Top 10 Most Romantic Restaurants by GAYOT.

Spa Gregorie’s
Spa Gregorie’s is always a wonderful oasis for a relaxing spa treatment, but on Valentine’s Day the spa is offering a romantic spa and dinner date for two. First, enjoy a couple’s massage or facial, followed by dinner at a nearby restaurant—in this case, your choice of a voucher from Fleming’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar ($25), The Bungalow Restaurant ($25) or WildFish ($15). Cost of this package is $199.
