Alzheimer’s Association, Orange County hosts its annual gala, “Creating Hope,” at the Balboa Bay Resort on Saturday, March 1, at 5:30 p.m.
Guests will enjoy an elegant evening of dining, dancing and live entertainment by Taylor Hicks, the winner of Season 5 of American Idol.
The funds raised from ticket sales and a luxury live auction will help support AAOC’s mission to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease, provide care and support for all affected and reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
The event gets underway with a cocktail reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m., followed by dinner and awards. “Club Hope” opens for dancing at 9 p.m.
Argyros Family Foundation is the presenting sponsor, while Eydie and Dave MacInnis are the event chairs. Gala 2014 honorees include Jacqueline Dupont, Irvine Cottages/Assured In-home Care (Corporate Partner); Jody Hudson, First American Trust (Volunteer Partner); Jeanne and Brett Lawrence, Rancho Las Lomas (Community Partner); and Donald Palmer (Philanthropy Partner).
The live auction includes items from Alaska Airlines, Rancho Las Lomas, Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, and The Resort at Pelican Hill.
