Marta and Raj Bhathal hosted the kick-off event for Segerstrom Center’s Candlelight Concert 2011 in their beautiful Laguna Beach home.
As sunset unfolded, Candlelight Chair Dee Higby welcomed committee members, Center Board members and past guests. Her vice-chairs will be Betty Huang and Elizabeth Segerstrom for this annual holiday gala – Dec. 2 this year – that raises more than $1 million dollars each year to support the Center’s artistic and education programs.
Caroline Jones from Cartier South Coast Plaza was on hand as Dee announced that Cartier would be a Presenting Sponsor.
Also among the crowd were Center Chairman Larry Higby, Center President Terry Dwyer and wife, Amy, Catherine Emmi (who announced that her husband, Jim, had just celebrated his 95th birthday), Marie Gray, John and Kelli Hamilton, Roger Kirwan and Tracy Martin, Kathryn Glassmyer from South Coast Plaza, Margaret Larkin, Ronnie and Byron Allumbaugh and Elizabeth An.
Candlelight Concert décor and details will remain a secret until closer to the event!
