Bestselling Author Comes to Newport Beach Library

Newport Beach Public Library will host an author visit by Janelle Brown, New York Times Bestselling author of “Watch Me Disappear,” on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Central Library Friends Meeting Room, 1000 Avocado Ave.

Brown’s critically acclaimed suspense thriller, “Watch Me Disappear,” debuted on The New York Times bestseller’s list at No. 13. Compared to by critics as spellbinding and engaging as “Gone Girl,” the novel was optioned by the Gotham Group for big-screen production.

Brown, who is a Los Angeles based writer, has also won wide praise for her other works, “All We Ever Wanted Was Everything” and “This is Where We Live.”

An essayist and journalist, Brown’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, Vogue, Elle, Wired, Self, RealSimple, Lenny, The Los Angeles Times, and numerous other publications.

Admission to the event is free. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis; no reserved seating. Seating will be limited by the room capacity. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase books and have them signed by the author.
