Jointly celebrating CHOC Children’s and the unveiling of a clothing line, the Carol Rachelle Boutique in collaboration with a new CHOC Children’s Guild, hosted The Carol Rachelle Benefit for CHOC.
The event “An Evening of Music, Champagne, & Fashion,” took place on March 12 at the Port Theatre in Corona del Mar. The event raised more than $20,000.
As promised, the night was a celebration fusing music, fashion and philanthropy with Orange Country royalty including: Sara Guggenheim Jarrett and Keith Jarrett, Stephanie Argyros, of the Argyros Family Foundation, Dr. Gigi Kroll and Dr. Amy VanBlaricom from Newport Center Women’s Health.
Over 100 attendees enjoyed live performances by Matt Mauser and The Frank Sinatra Tribute Band, danced and enjoyed flowing champagne and light fare by Pirrozi’s, while models made rounds donning Carol Rachelle’s debut private label collection, CR Mix.
Dr. Gigi Kroll, an OB-GYN who has delivered over 2,500 babies, shared her passion for her work at the CHOC Children’s Foundation by serving as mistress of ceremonies.
“We are thrilled to bring members of the community together at this exciting event to raise awareness and highlight the impact that CHOC makes every day in the lives of children all over southern California,” said Dr. Kroll. Dr. Kroll also serves on the CHOC Children’s Foundation Board of Directors.
“We believe in enhancing the retail fashion experience and strengthening our community through philanthropic, fashion-focused events. We could not be more honored and excited to collaborate with Dr. Kroll and CHOC, and raise funds for this world class hospital, and introduce our private label, all at this very special, jam-packed event,” said Carol Dobbs, of Carol Rachelle Boutique.
