I was invited to speak in Europe at two events that were two weeks apart. What to do? Come home in between, or stay in Europe and explore? The answer was simple.
From Amsterdam with the bicycles and windmills, to Dublin with the castles, it was all an overwhelming and memorable experience.
An overnight train from Cologne to Prague was a highlight, as was the magical city of Prague itself. Watching the sun set over Iceland, then sunrise within the hour made the spectacle of nature all the more wondrous.
This was all done with enough clothes to fit in a 46-liter backpack with an amazingly little amount of inconvenience. I only wish I had done this decades ago!
