Work will continue this week on the traffic signal at the East Coast Highway/Newport Coast Drive intersection, Monday, Feb. 9 through Thursday, Feb. 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
While out of operation, traffic signals are treated as 4-way stops in all directions. Alternate routes are recommended as traffic delays are expected.
Crews are updating the traffic equipment at this intersection as part of the ongoing traffic signal modernization project that is currently underway in this area.
