A traffic signal outage at the East Coast Highway/Newport Coast Drive intersection is planned for Thursday, Feb. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
While out of operation, traffic signals are treated as four-way stops in all directions. Alternate routes are recommended as traffic delays are expected.
Crews are updating the traffic equipment at this intersection as part of the ongoing traffic signal modernization project that is currently underway in this area.
