Happy-Dogs-joined-in-on-the-fun1The Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce presents the 36th annual Christmas Walk on Sunday, Dec. 7, and it promises to be another can’t miss event.

Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., thousands of people are expected to pack the sidewalks along Coast Highway to enjoy merchant promotions throughout Corona del Mar’s business district, live entertainment with over a dozen bands and vocal groups in strategic locations, the popular Fireman’s Grill BBQ provided by the Newport Beach Fire Department, restaurant tastings, and more.

Bandera’s parking lot is once again the site of a vendor faire, beer and wine garden, kids’ entertainment including bounce houses, petting zoo, and holiday characters, and a stage where the band Pinch Me andNewport-Beat-had-people-dancing-in-the-streets-at-PCH-and-Goldenrod local community groups will perform.

The event is free to the public.

Each year local merchants donate prizes for the popular Christmas Walk Opportunity Drawing. Purchase tickets to win unique gift items, hotel stays, restaurant dinners, spa packages, gift certificates, services and other prizes worth a total of more than $15,000.

Tickets are $1 each, 11 for $10, or 25 for $20. Winner need not be present to win.
