CRIME LOG

Attempted forced commercial burglary in the 1500 block of Westcliff Dr., between 6 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Felony vandalism was found at Clay Street and Irvine Avenue between 4 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Burglary from a motor vehicle in the 600 block of Alderwood Dr., between 7 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday. Stolen property was valued at $30.

Petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 4200 block of MacArthur Blvd., between 4:30 p.m. Oct. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Monday. Stolen property was valued at $870.

Burglary from a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Emerald Ave., between 5:45 p.m. Oct. 2 and 8 a.m. Oct. 3. Stolen property was valued at $770.

A pick pocket petty theft occurred in the first block of McFadden Pl., between 3 and 3:27 p.m. on Monday.

Garage burglary with no forced entry was reported in the 1200 block of Bay Ave, between 10:04 and 10:19 p.m. Monday. Stolen property was valued at $595.

 

ARREST LOG

A Costa Mesa man was arrested Tuesday at 11:22 a.m. in the 2100 block of Newport Blvd., in Costa Mesa, for 10851(A) taking an auto without the owner’s consent and 496(A) receiving/etc. known stolen property. Bail was set at $20,000.

Pro paddle boarder from Tugun, Queensland, Australia, was arrested Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. at River Avenue and Balboa Boulevard for 23252(A) DUI of alcohol, 22350 unsafe speed for prevailing conditions, and 21658(A) unsafe lane change. Bail was set at $2,500.

A college student from Orange was arrested Monday at 1:43 a.m. at Newport Boulevard and Finley Avenue for 243(B) battery on peace officer/emergency personnel. Bail was set at $2,500.

An Alhambra tutor was arrested Monday at 4:50 p.m. at the LAX Airport in Los Angeles, for 459-460B felony burglary, 502(C)(4) unauthorized alter/etc of computer data/system, and 502(C)(2) unauthorized copy/use of computer data. Bail was set at $200,000
