The Seegmiller Law Firm in Newport Beach is conducting a search for an executive producer for a new public service TV webcast designed to give consumers free legal advice.
Founding Partner West Seegmiller said he is seeking ideas for the show’s format from amateur and professional producers. The candidate with the most compelling idea for “West of Legal” will be hired full-time with benefits, said Seegmiller.
Ideas, entries and applications may be submitted to westoflegalproducer@gmail.com by August 15.
“People ask me every day for advice on a wide range of issues so I thought by creating a show around these issues and then cataloging the topics, those seeking advice can simply log on and find what they are looking for,” said Seegmiller.“We hope to discover some local production talent who can design the show so that it is informative but not boring. Whether it’s a ‘man on the street,’ an in-studio audience or some other format, I want to hear some novel ideas that are doable and help us achieve our goal of informing the public.”
Established by a former judge for the California Superior Court for 10 years, The Seegmiller Law Firm has earned a sterling reputation for seeking justice for ordinary people including the underdog, the powerless and those who otherwise have nowhere else to turn.
Attorney West Seegmiller started the firm in 1981 and has since taken on such titans as Coca Cola and Rockwell International and emerged victorious.
Not one to leave things to chance, Seegmiller has built an actual courtroom in his law offices where he hires mock “juries” to hear his cases before he tries them before actual ones.
