Impact Giving, a women’s collective giving organization based in Orange County, granted $131,000 to local and global charities at their 5th annual awards event, “Making THE Impact – Mapping YOUR Giving Over 5 Years,” that took place last month at The Center Club in Costa Mesa.

In its first five years, Impact Giving has awarded $606,000 to 33 nonprofit organizations, locally and globally. “It is a thrill to witness the tangible impact a group of motivated, charitable women can make,” said Ann Duncan Levy, Board Chair and Co-Founder of Impact Giving. “The more Partners we have, the more we can collectively give to deserving organizations. Our goal is to bring together 1,000 Partners, enabling us to donate $1 million annually.”

Out of 51 total grant applicants this year, 18 made it to the final round and seven were awarded grants. They included Lotus Outreach ($30,000 to support The Blossom Bus), Voices For Children ($25,000 to provide Court Appointed Special Advocates), OC Child Abuse Prevention Center ($20,000 to
