The unidentified male was found Christmas Eve about one mile off from the Crystal Cove area, according to a press release from OCSD issued Jan. 2.
A commercial fisherman found the body and called the sheriff ’s department.
Since recovering the victim, sheriff ’s investigators have yet to identify him. His age and race are also unknown.
He was wearing dark-colored, nylon Champion sweatpants with zippered legs, size 11, black Asics running shoes and a black Timex watch with a plastic band.
The man was about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 165 pounds with dark colored hair.
